going above and beyond

I am an art director that helps small companies with communicating a concept and their identity through all pieces of their business.

I approach my work as a creative partner with my clients, collaborating to outline a strategy and develop a clear shared goal. I make sure we decide on the best course of action of how to package their story. I’m comfortable working solo or working with a team, as I’ve worked both ways in my different roles through the years. My only goal is to do what is best to serve the project’s needs.

I have a background in marketing and print packaging, giving me the unique advantage of being able to help clients bridge the gap between the conceptual area they want to be seen in, and what will be the most effective way to market that in a solid, distinguishable identity.

I received my BFA in Advertising Art Direction and Design from Brigham Young University. After a few years on the East Coast just outside New York City, I’m settling back on the beach in San Diego with my husband, our three kids and our dog.

Art Direction

I’ve concepted and designed visuals for multiple mediums. I’ve worked with a diverse range of clients to create innovative-thinking, memorable visual stories driven by big ideas.



Brand Identity

I work on all things branding, from logos and business cards, to tags, packaging, brochures and websites. With a background in marketing and art directing, I combine the art and beauty of design with the practicality and importance of business in branding.



Web Development

If you need a website, I’ve got you covered. Because of my background in design and marketing, I can make sure your website looks beautiful while still keeping user-friendly functionality.



Big Ideas

I’ve worked under some of the best in the Advertising industry. I learned how to think big and find the hidden gem of truth in each brand to make that meaningful connection to their target market.



Packaging

I design boxes and other packaging needs for companies. I understand that packaging needs to be as beautiful as it is functional, and I’ve worked hard to seamlessly blend both.



Pattern Design

I design patterns for wrapping paper, packaging, and textile. My patterns have been carried in stores such as HomeGoods, TJ Maxx, Pottery Barn, and Bed Bath and Beyond.

I’m a perfectionist who carries that high standard into my work. I know things aren’t ever totally perfect, but my attention is always put toward getting things right. I go above and beyond and am incredibly dependable. If I commit to doing something, you can always guarantee you’ll get what you expect and more.
